- FCC - add an address to the FCC field
-
- Usage: FCC filename
-
- The FCC field contains a filename (or filenames) to receive a copy of
- the outgoing message. The FCC field is removed during mailing, so
- readers of your message do not see it. Use of the field is optional.
-
- If you use the form *filename to put a filename as an address in the TO,
- CC or BCC fields, MM will move the filename to the FCC field.
-
- If the file exists already, the new message is appended to the end.
- The file will be a mail file, readable by MM with the GET command
- (from TOP-LEVEL). Note carefully, the directory is assumed to be
- the current working directory (check with the PWD command), and not
- necessarily the MAIL-DIRECTORY.
-
- The command DISPLAY FCC will show you the current content of the FCC
- field, and ERASE FCC will erase the entire field. To replace the
- filename, you must ERASE FCC and then give a new FCC command.
